Source: kasapafmonline. com - Award winning musician, Rex Omar has urged politicians not to have so much trust in Ghanaian voters.

Speaking to Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5, he disclosed that politicians shouldn’t feel comfortable, thinking the crowd they see at their rallies are all in support of them.
He also added that not the rallies they hold nor their promises can change the mind of Ghanaian voter. “Ghanaian voters are very smart, never think because you see them at your rallies they will vote for you.”

The veteran singer noted that though politicians can convince people to their rallies, yet they should never be confident about they securing the peoples votes.
“Politicians can never take Ghanaians for a ride. The same Ghanaians who voted you in, will vote you out when the time comes. They take their decisions ahead of time before you even see them at your rallies.”

Rex Omar who was worried about why electorates couldn’t give President Mahama another mandate, said the NDC government did alot in terms of infrastructure but failed in terms of communicating well and convincing the voters to renew President Mahama’s mandate.
