NPP Election 2016 Promises

NPP has promised many things to the Ghanaian electorate, during the Ghana General Election 2016 campaign. Read below, just a few of the promises made.

NPP promises include,

  1. Free Senior High School (SHS), 
  2. One Village one dam, 
  3. Pay teacher trainee allowance, 
  4. Free Maternal Care, 
  5. Reduce electricity tariffs, 
  6. Reduce water bill, 
  7. One district one factory, 
  8. Pay all DKM customers, 
  9. Reduce corporate tax to 20%, 
  10. Create the Western North Region, 
  11. Provide jobs to all graduates, 
  12. Abolish some other taxes, 
  13. Charge a flat rate of 3.5 percent from SME instead of 17.5 percent VAT, 
  14. Pay $1m to all 275 constituencies, 
  15. One-extension officer per 500 farmers, 
  16. Removing import duties on raw materials and machinery for production, 
  17. Abolishing the Special Import Levy, 
  18. Abolishing the 17.5% VAT on imported medicines not produced in the country, 
  19. Abolishing the 17.5% VAT on Financial Services, 
  20. Abolishing the 5% VAT on Real Estate sales
  21. Abolishing the 17.5% VAT on domestic airline tickets

The school feeding programme, Anti-Corruption, not to take new loans, giving a fair chance to all Ghanaians, including all Ghanaians in governance, promoting aggressively tourism, creating lots of new jobs, SADA investigation, bringing Ghanaians lost money back, continuing with projects, started by NDC.... and many more. 

Time will tell, what NPP can do, and what not.
