Source: starrfmonline. com - The Electoral Commission has discovered more errors on the nomination forms of presidential candidates who were disqualified for the 2016 general elections.

This comes after the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the EC to extend the period of filing of nomination forms to close of day Tuesday to offer presidential candidates time to correct their errors.

Source: Daily Graphic Ghana - Fourteen out of the 222 parliamentary candidates contesting the December 7 election on the ticket of the Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP) are people with disabilities (PWDs).

The party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, who is on tour of the Greater Accra Region to introduce the party’s parliamentary candidates to the electorate, told the Daily Graphic that the party was giving additional support to all the PWDs contesting on its ticket.

He said the issue that came before the High Court was not about 105 errors and even when the EC went to the Supreme Court and requested that the High Court decision be quashed, the arguments were about just an error.
