Source: ultimatefmonline. com - The Brong Ahafo Regional youth organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Kwame Baffoe a.k.a Abronye DC has warned appointees in the outgoing government to brace themselves for his wrath in the coming days.
He revealed that he will soon deploy over 5,000 of his colleagues with ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags to their individual homes to retrieve the rest of the loot they may be hoarding to enjoy after January 7.
The maverick youth organizer said he cannot sit unconcerned while these appointees go home to enjoy the loot they have allegedly stolen from the state; insisting that it is part of measures he has personally adopted to fight corruption as espoused by the president-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I am deploying over 5,000 to their residences to take what they are hoarding to enjoy with their families when they leave power. When we arrive there, we will ask them to empty their safes with what they have stolen over the period so that we can hand it over to government”, he assured.
Abronye DC believes many of them helped in strangulating the Ghanaian economy and should not be left off the hook, underscoring the need for the latest measure even before books of how they acquired certain properties are looked into.
He told Kwame Adinkra host of Abusua Nkomo that those who may not have engaged in underhand dealings while in office will be spared but warned of stiffer sanctions for those found guilty.
“We will not allow them go home with our sweat because they stole what rightfully belonged to us and must pay for it. Kwame I am currently in Accra and very soon you will hear that I have embarked on this exercise to retrieve all the stolen monies they are keeping in their homes. I mean business”, he emphasized.
