Source: Daily Graphic Ghana - The Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region, Ms Hannah Serwaa Tetteh, has said she will not be complacent but embark on an effective political campaign to win the 2016 election.
The MP, who was in her constituency recently to inspect numerous ongoing development projects, disclosed her intention to seek re-election via the upcoming NDC parliamentary primaries scheduled for November 7, this year.

The visit by the MP was to afford her the opportunity to know the progress of work of the projects and to entreat contractors working on such projects to expedite action towards their early completion.

Ms Tetteh, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, was accompanied by the Awutu Senya District Chief Executive, Mr Sampson Abbey Armah. They first visited Senya Beraku to inspect ongoing construction works on male, female and children’s wards at the health centre, a new market, a four-unit classroom block at the A.M.A. Zion C basic school, as well as a dining hall and a girls dormitory at the Senya Senior High School.

They also inspected the construction of a 12- seater water closet toilet at Bonsueku, a CHPS Compound at Ayeresu and police stations at Bontrase and Mankomeda. At Awutu Beraku, the team also inspected the Rural Technology Facility, a Chinese project at the D/A basic school, Beraku main street project, a new circuit court and the new district education service office.

At Awutu Bawjiase, Ms Tetteh inspected work on the new community day senior high school, the Bawjiase lorry park and a sewing centre, and at the Obrachire Senior High Technical School, she inspected a renovated girls dormitory and a new two-storey girls dormitory among others.

Ms Tetteh said the electorate always voted for governments to improve their living standards by executing projects that addressed their needs.

According to her, there were a lot of projects at various stages of completion, and when completed, would propel the development of the beneficiary areas and the district at large.

She stated that the execution of the projects would go a long way to justify confidence in the government since it was continuously putting up such projects to the benefit of the electorate.
