Former President George Bush said this in his last 6 paragraphs:
“What you do is as important as anything Government does. I ask you to seek a common good beyond your comfort, to defend needed reforms against easy attacks, to serve your Nation, beginning with your neighbor. I ask you to be citizens: Citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects; responsible citizens building communities of service and a nation of character.“

Ghana’s president was giving his inaugural speech at the black star square today in Accra. His victory at the December 2016 polls has brought to an end the series of Johns at the presidency. Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kofour, late John Evans Atta Mills and now John Dramani Mahama were the former presidents of the forth Republic of Ghana. | |
